San Diego - March 2, 2012. Wintriss announced it will introduce its latest camera for surface inspection while exhibiting at NPE2012. The key component of the Web Ranger Inspection System, the OPSIS 8000 Line Scan Camera, uses a 8192 pixel CMOS sensor for defect detection.  The 'smart camera' performs image processing on-camera at 320 megapixels per second enabling the use of fewer cameras to inspect wide fast webs for smaller defects. Wintriss, located in Booth 10031, is delighted to be participating in NPE, the largest plastics trade show in North America .
